Our Official School Opening...

On Friday 22nd July we celebrated our official school opening.  The Hon. member for Mallee - John Forrest, Member for Lowan - Hugh Delahunty, Director of Catholic Education (Ballarat Diocese) - Larry Burn, Mayor of Horsham - Michael Ryan and Fr Peter joined us in our celebrations along with parishioners, past students and staff and other Horsham community members.  Larry Burn spoke to our community focusing on the journey we have taken to get where we are today.  He declared the building open and unveiled the plaque with Mrs. Cox (Principal). 

Students articulated our journey we have taken using a piece of artwork. The artpiece depicts our journey from our old building to our new one and has three parts – the original school , the transitional period working in portable classrooms and the present with our wonderful newschool.

The student leadership team conducted tours of our new school and everyone was invited to join us for light freshments in the staffroom.
